EnergyHub signs Transportation Electrification Accord to support adoption of electric vehicles

Matt Johnson
Managing Director | General Counsel

EnergyHub signed the Transportation Electrification Accord today, a document that articulates principles designed to accelerate the adoption of electric transportation infrastructure in the United States.

The goal of the Accord, developed by a group of organizations including Advanced Energy Economy, Energy Foundation, Illinois Citizen Utility Board, Natural Resources Defense Council, Plug-in America, and Sierra Club, is to educate policymakers on how to advance electric transportation in a manner that provides economic, social and environmental benefits. We’re pleased to join a distinguished group of companies and organizations to support the growth of electric vehicles through the Accord.

As a leading provider of distributed energy resource management systems (DERMS), EnergyHub is already working with a number of clients to ensure that utilities can successfully manage the coming growth in electric vehicles and other distributed energy resources. Utilities can use EnergyHub's Mercury DERMS to turn fleets of EVs into flexible, distributed assets, capable of providing both data intelligence and responsive control from the grid edge.
