Research firm Parks Associates is hosting its 21st-annual Connections™ conference May 23-25, 2017 in San Francisco, and EnergyHub President Seth Frader-Thompson is a featured speaker.
Seth will be joined on the “Energy Management Solutions: Moving the Market Forward” panel by EnergyHub partners Olaf Lohr, CEO of sonnen and Stuart Lombard, CEO of ecobee. The panel will be moderated by Tom Kerber, Director of IoT Strategy, at Parks Associates.
The interactive session will explore how connected thermostats and other smart products are creating substantial savings for consumers and utilities.
“The rise in popularity of the connected thermostat is a clear signal that consumers want home energy products,” Seth said. “Utilities play a key role in the consumer’s adoption of connected thermostats and other DERs, and I’m excited to share my experience working with utilities and vendors on this panel.”
This is EnergyHub’s fourth consecutive year at Connections™, including Seth’s panel appearance in 2016, where he discussed how the Internet of Things and energy industries could work together to advance connected home solutions.
“For over 20 years, CONNECTIONS™ has brought industry players together to address challenges, opportunities, and growth areas for the smart home and connected consumer industries,” said Elizabeth Parks, Senior Vice President, Parks Associates. “We look forward to having Seth and EnergyHub join us at the event to provide insight into these topics.”
